My name is Brendi Mora. My first Thirty Seconds to Mars concert was Aug 31, 2002 at the Lawlor Events Center in Reno, Nevada. They were opening for Incubus. I had never heard their music or heard of them, but after that show, I never stopped following and attended as many shows as I could.
In 2014, I took my then 7 year old son to see the band at the Hollywood Bowl. It was his first concert. He has been to several since and even the sound check/meet and greet in San Diego.
Thirty Seconds to Mars has meant a lot to us. When we have a bad day, we blast the music in the car for a “Jared Leto sing along”. Our favorite songs to get us through a bad time are This is War and Closer to the Edge. We are able to sing these songs at the top of our lungs and feel better at the end.
Forever grateful for TSTM in our lives.
